SBI Clerk Eligibility 2022:
Nationality
Candidates who meet any of the following nationality criteria can apply for the SBI Clerk exam:
- Indian nationality.
- A Bhutanese or Nepalese citizen.
- A Tibetan refugee whose family arrived in India before the year 1962.
- People of Indian ancestry traveled to India from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or East African nations such as Ethiopia, Zambia, Uganda, Zaire, Malawi, Kenya, and Tanzania with the purpose of living permanently in India.
Educational Requirements
- The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
- Candidates in their final semester/year may also apply if they can submit proof of degree completion on or before August 31, 2022.
- The candidate must be fluent in both verbal and written English in the official language of the state or union territory in which they are applying.
Age limit for SBI Clerks
The candidate's minimum age eligibility is 20 years, and their maximum age limit is 28 years.

- Step 2: Navigate to the 'Current Openings' section.
- Step 3: Select 'SBI Clerk Recruitment 2022' from the drop-down menu.
- Step 4: Then click the 'Apply online' option.
- Step 5: Carefully read all of the instructions before clicking the 'Proceed' button.

SBI Clerk Exam 2022 Pattern
The SBI Clerk examination consists of two papers. The SBI Clerk Exam Pattern for both Prelims and Mains exams is nearly the same.
The only difference is the overall number of questions, time duration, and section weightage.
The pattern of the SBI Clerk Prelims Exam
- The SBI Clerk Prelims test is divided into three portions. There are a total of 100 questions, each worth 100 points.
- The exam will last one hour.
- The Prelims exam has a negative marking system. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 (1/4 of 1 mark) marks will be deducted.
- Each section has its own set of timing to complete.
- For this exam, there is no sectional cutoff.
- After passing this exam, students are qualified to sit for the Mains exam.

Exam Pattern for SBI Clerk Mains
- The SBI Clerk Mains test consists of 190 MCQ questions divided into four sections.
- There is a time limit for completing all of the sections.
- Each incorrect answer receives one-fourth of negative grading.
- After passing the mains examination and meeting the cutoff marks, students are qualified to take the local language exam.

The pattern of the SBI Clerk Language Exam
This is the final stage of the SBI Clerk exam. Candidates who pass the Mains exam are eligible to take this exam.
This examination is not required of all candidates.
Candidates who are unable to provide evidence of their language proficiency must take this exam.
Candidates who provide evidence for their language in their qualification mark sheet are exempt from taking this exam.
Candidates can demonstrate their language proficiency by presenting their class 10th and 12th-grade mark sheets or certificates.
